Both courses opened for plat in 1960. The courses were designed by Floyd Farley. Renovations by Tulsa's own Randy Heckenkemper have kept the championship course a favorite of Tulsa County golfers.

The Par-3 Course is lighted and is the perfect place to spend the evening under the lights. With excellent small bent grass greens, accuracy is rewarded.
Par for the course is 54. From the back tees the course plays to 2,461 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,019 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 170 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 99 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 164 yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The LaFortune Park Par 3 Course is # 10, a 114 yard par-3.
